Inspection Equipment & Software

To authoritatively ensure our customers’ needs are met, BK Aerospace has invested in high-precision, state of the art measurement equipment.

In the quality control laboratory, our highly qualified personnel utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS software, along with our FARO arm and Leica laser tracker using PolyWorks 2018 software as well as CAM 2 Measure software.

Inspection is carried out in temperature and FOD controlled environments. We also possess and use all forms of hand-held/traditional inspection equipment.

BK Aerospace dimensionally inspects products using both traditional two-dimensional drawings and 3D model datasets. Our technicians are very knowledgeable of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.

BK Aerospace is also capable of ensuring customer needs are met by performing a wide array of physical tests, such as proof loading, vacuum pressure test, center of gravity, mass moment of inertia, liquid dye Penetrant inspection, material hardness testing, and other functional tests, as needed.
